About Jacqueline Whitmore, CSP
International etiquette and image expert, author, spokesperson and television commentator, Jacqueline Whitmore, CSP, has helped thousands of people around the world learn to be more confident and courteous in business and social situations. She is the author of Business Class: Etiquette Essentials for Success at Work (St. Martin's Press, 2005), which is currently in its eighth printing and has been translated into Russian, simplified Chinese and complex Chinese.
Gaining the reputation as the go-to-person for etiquette dilemmas, Jacqueline has appeared on a variety of national television shows including ABC's 20/20, The Fox Report with Shepard Smith, CNN's Anderson Cooper 360°, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, ExtraTV and CNBC. She also appears on the weekly segment, Eye on Etiquette, for the local CBS affiliate, WPEC News 12.
She has been featured or quoted in The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Glamour, Time, Fortune, Cosmopolitan, Women's Day, Women's Health, and O: The Oprah Magazine, among others.
She is the national cell phone etiquette spokesperson for Sprint and has served as the national holiday etiquette spokesperson for Office Depot, CLARISONIC Skincare and Sam's Club.
She is the founder of The Protocol School of Palm Beach, a premier business etiquette consulting firm dedicated to helping executives polish their professionalism, enhance their interpersonal communication skills, and improve their personal brand. A renowned motivational speaker, Jacqueline regularly presents seminars to Fortune 500 companies, universities and national conferences. In 2008, she was awarded the prestigious Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation from the National Speakers Association and the International Federation for Professional Speakers.
Prior to starting her company, Jacqueline served as the assistant director of public relations for The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach where she worked closely with editors and photo journalists from publications including Travel & Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Vogue, Town & Country, and Gourmet. While at The Breakers, Jacqueline was named the hotel's first protocol officer where she was responsible for teaching the hotel staff the nuances of dealing with royalty, celebrities, and other VIPs.
In her spare time, Jacqueline is involved with several worthwhile causes including serving as a spokesperson for the National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NCCC). Additionally, she and her two dogs, Taylor and Oliver, are involved in “Tail Waggin' Tutors,” a therapy dog program designed to help children improve their reading skills and build self-esteem while reading to dogs.
Jacqueline is professionally trained in television, public speaking, theater, and voice and has a Bachelor's degree in broadcasting from The University of Florida.
